RETREAT DIRECTOR.....

The Pinehill Staff is directed by Keith Darnell. 

Testimony: At the age of eighteen, I invited Jesus into my heart. I confessed that I was a sinner in need of a Savior. That day He saved me and changed my life forever. Two years later while working as a counselor at camp, the Lord spoke to my heart and called me to the ministry. I served ten years in camp ministry as a counselor, assistant director and director. I served as interim pastor for two years and pastor for six years; I have served in Education, student and children’s ministry for 16 years developing programs equipping volunteer leaders and staff. My heart and love is seeing lost people come to Jesus. My goal is to make disciples. I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I also enjoy camping, fishing, hunting and golfing.

Family: Born July 10, 1963, in Marietta SC, I married Claire Renfrow, May 21, 1988 we have been married for 36 wonderful years. We have five children and ten grandchildren. My wife Claire graduated from Francis Marion University, Florence, SC, in 1988 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. later, she received her Masters in Education from Grand Canyon University. She has taught for 35 Years in the public school system. 

Pinehill Baptist Retreat is owned and operated by the Pee Dee Baptist Association.  Our facilities consists of 154 beautiful acres that are open to all people of all denominations.  Pinehill is a place where people can come and meet with God and experience
